Description
Nairn is a hand-dyed merino, silk and yak yarn. Beautifully coloured, superwash knitting yarn. This skein is 120g and 480 meters. Spun from 100% superwash merino wool. It is very pleasantly "next-to-skin" soft. This yarn is ideal for garment or shawl knitting, crochet and weaving. Once blocked, the single ply blooms giving the yarn a halo. Our yarns are hand-dyed in a smoke- and pet-free studio. Care: Hand wash cold and lay flat to dry. Despite being superwash, hand washing and drying flat is advised for all hand-dyed woollens. To help ensure consistency, All our yarns are dyed in small batches of four to five skeins. As such, there may be some minor differences between skeins and dye-lot. To prevent pooling, we recommend you knit or crochet with alternate skeins for larger projects. This listing is for one hand-dyed skein.

We recommend you purchase enough yarn for your project in order to ensure consistency. Although we follow the same recipes and techniques, dye lots cannot be guaranteed to be the same. We photograph our hand dyed yarns in a lightbox as accurately as possible, however colours may vary.
